Job Description
As a Recruitment Consultant your role is to assist candidates and clients by building strong relationships to help them achieve their hiring strategies. Through proactive headhunting and business development, your role is to ensure you can help secure the best talent and best opportunities.
Your Profile Will Demonstrate
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a recruitment position;
Knowledge of the healthcare and community services remit
A driven, high energy and entrepreneurial attitude to your work, a proactive and positive approach;
A strong appetite and aptitude for a role involving a high volume of phone calls to and effective communication with senior executives across the healthcare or community services remit.
A team player, keen to work in a collegial team environment;
Proven success in a role with an aspect of cold calling work;
Fast and accurate research skills;
A highly motivated self-starter, used to working with a reasonable degree of autonomy;
High attention to detail – through the recording of information and producing key business documents;
Experience of writing, editing and proof-reading documents for presentation to clients;
The ability to meet multiple deadlines in a high-pressure environment; and
Excellent MS Office and general IT skills, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
Key Responsibilities of the Role Include but are not limited to:
· Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies;
· Visit clients to build and develop positive relationships;
· Develop a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment;
· Advertise vacancies by drafting and placing adverts;
· Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates for new positions;
· Maintain and develop the company’s database;
· Request references and check the suitability of candidates on behalf of clients;
· Prepare CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants;
· Present candidates resumes to clients utilising the Curamoir template with a summary profile explaining their career trajectory, qualifications, skillset and motivations;
· Organise interviews for candidates as requested by the client and subsequent interview preparation and debriefs;
· Negotiate packages and terms of business;
· Offer broader market knowledge including advise to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression;
· Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, annual billing targets or business leads generated;
· Assisting with the mentoring and onboarding of junior staff members;
· Completion of any other business-related task as delegated by the CEO
