ETM is a diverse and flexible business, and we are seeking an experienced recruitment consultant to join our team here in our Alexandria office.

The consultant we are seeking is an individual who is passionate about people and thrives in a target-driven, ever-changing workplace.

Working with a variety of clients, you will leverage from our database, and various recruitment platforms where you will run your own portfolio of clients.

You will also enjoy seeking new businesses to partner with, giving you a great array of new and existing clients to develop.

You will run your own day and be the master of your own success.

Your Duties:

Manage the end-to-end 360 degree Construction recruitment process, including business development, job posting, and candidate placement.

Handle job requisitions from clients within the construction industry.

Actively source and attract candidates through online job advertisements, professional networking, and database searches.

Maintain and regularly update the candidate and client database.

Create and publish online job ads to attract qualified applicants.

Review incoming applications for suitability.

Conduct initial screening and interviews with candidates, both over the phone and in person.

Maintain consistent communication with candidates via phone and email.

Prepare candidate CVs and summary overviews in ETM Group format for client submission.

Carry out thorough reference checks on candidates.

Keep both candidates and clients informed throughout every stage of the recruitment process using pre-agreed communication methods.

Build and sustain strong, ongoing relationships with both clients and candidates.

Consistently provide accurate and current information to clients and candidates.

Conduct research and supply relevant information to internal teams, clients, and candidates as required. Out of hours phone management (Rostered basis only)

Ongoing existing client management and business relationship development

To be successful you will need:

Bachelor’s degree is desirable but not essential

In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years relevant recruitment experience is desirable

We need career focused professionals who thinks long term for this role

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Advanced computer and technical capabilities

Organisational skills are a must – this office is fast paced!

Ability to work to deadlines and across multiple functions

A committed, energetic and team -oriented professional personality

Knowledge of the Construction industry or similar blue collar Industry

Previous people management experience

Previous recruitment or labour-hire experience

Local Construction Industry / blue-collar knowledge would be a big advantage
