Join our long tenure team in our modern Bathroom & Kitchen Retail Showroom at Fortitude Valley, you will find it a pleasure to work with our team.
Our client has been in business for over 60 years, delivering quality Bathroom & Kitchen products to the marketplace.
The product range is distributed into the marketplace through many channels including our High End Retail Showroom.
In this role you will be working in the prestigious retail arm - dealing with Top End Clients, taking their enquiries, offering solutions, delivering quotes, and closing the deals. This is an Internal Role.
The person we are seeking must have retail sales experience and you will need to demonstrate a previous successful track record in building and growing sales.
Not only will you need to be able to take walk in enquiries, but you will also deal with internet and telephone enquiries. At times you will also need to make outbound prospecting calls to past clients and even following up on quotations.
This role is Full Time, and will require 3 days a week in our Fortitude Valley showroom, and 2 days a week in our Pinkenba Clearance Shop.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Help customers feel at home in the showroom, offering tailored product advice and solutions
Assist at our Pinkenba clearance centre, offering advice to end users and trade customers.
Build strong relationships with clients and trade professionals
Keep the showroom presentation sharp and inviting.
Work with our clearance centre manager to ensure the space is inviting and up to date.
Work towards sales goals with the support of your team
Stay curious about our product range (we’ll provide training)
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in retail or showroom sales, ideally in interiors, plumbing, or home improvement
Communicates well and enjoys building rapport with people
Is proactive, well-organised, and enjoys working as part of a small team
Has a genuine interest in design, style, and home improvement
Can work full-time, including Saturdays.
Has their own transport

We are seeking a candidate that has great communication skills, and can build rapport, and be persuasive in keeping control of a sales process.
You will need to be a quick learner, and have a desire to learn a new product, full training provided.
It would also be advantageous if you had experience with POS and CRM.
In this role you will be offered a base salary, in addition a commission on all profitable sales made.
This is a permanent full time role. You will be required to work 2 - 3 Saturdays each month, ( with days of in Lieu for these weekend rosters )
