About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Associate to join our retail team full-time.

This is a customer-facing, product-focused role suited to someone with a background in assisted sales within a retail or showroom environment — ideally within the tile, flooring, or bathroom industry. You'll be responsible for guiding customers through their purchase journey, from initial consult through to final sale and order processing.

You'll work across all aspects of the store, including showroom presentation, order coordination, and quote follow-ups. This role requires both sales confidence and a willingness to pitch in with day-to-day operations — including physical tasks like unpacking stock and preparing customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist retail and trade customers in-store and by phone

Provide expert guidance on tile and bathroom product selection

Prepare and follow up on customer quotes to convert into sales

Read floor plans and assist with calculating tile quantities and layout advice

Process retail transactions (EFTPOS, cash, and digital payments)

Create and maintain engaging, well-merchandised showroom displays

Place and manage supplier stock orders, checking stock accuracy and availability

Unpack and process stock deliveries and prepare customer orders for pickup or dispatch

What We’re Looking For

Proven retail or showroom sales experience (tile or bathroom product experience highly regarded)

Confident dealing with both trade and retail customers

Strong product knowledge and a proactive selling approach

Experience using quoting and POS systems

Comfortable following up on open leads and meeting sales performance targets

Physically capable of handling tile boxes and performing store operations

Forklift licence (QLD) essential

Availability to work across a 7-day retail roster, including weekends and public holidays
