As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant & Content Creator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our Founder and play a key role in delivering campaigns that make a real impact.
Role Overview
This is not an entry-level position—you’ll need 2–4 years of experience in a marketing, content, or digital agency role, ideally with a focus on qualified lead generation across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and SEO.
You’ll work across client communication, social media management, paid ads, landing page optimisation, website QA, tracking setup, content creation, and reporting. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and the opportunity to grow into strategy, business development, or project leadership over time.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Account Management
Manage some communications for active client accounts
Manage workflow for digital projects and campaigns from brief to approval
Attend client meetings to discuss KPIs, performance, and growth strategies
Meet regularly with our Meta agency partner and key account manager to review performance and optimise campaigns
Assist in walking clients through performance data, reports, and insights
Prepare notes, action plans, and follow-ups after meetings
Answer phone calls and respond to client enquiries during business hours (9–5)
Keep track of hours and deliverables in Harvest, targeting ~60% billable time
Content Creation & Copywriting
Write engaging, clear copy for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and digital ads
Humanise AI-generated content to match brand tone
Create scroll-stopping and high CTR design and engaging videos in Canva
Brief external designers, editors, and developers
Develop design briefs for assets across web, Google Ads, and Meta Ads
Confidently shoot photo and video content in-office and on-site, using an iPhone, gimbal, lighting, and microphones
Social Media & Paid Ads
Develop and schedule social content calendars in Hootsuite
Plan and launch Meta and Google Ads campaigns with a focus on qualified lead generation
Monitor engagement, lead flow, and KPIs weekly
Optimise campaigns in collaboration with our Meta agency partner
Prepare monthly reports showing results and recommendations
Identify gaps and propose data-driven improvements
Website QA, Tracking & Technical Support
Test websites daily to ensure lead flow, form submissions, and conversion tracking are working correctly
Coordinate Pixel and API tracking implementation with the development and SEO teams
Review landing page performance and recommend improvements based on proven conversion principles
Monitor GA4 for performance and event tracking
Confidently extract key data on events and conversion rates and walk clients through reports
QA work delivered by development and design teams
Business Growth & Founder Support
Contribute to Sun Media’s marketing strategy, including agency website content and social media
Support the Founder’s personal branding through content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
Assist with PR initiatives to raise awareness of Sun Media’s services
Create assets and campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation
About You
Skills & Experience
2–4 years in a digital marketing, content, or agency role
Proven experience generating qualified leads through Meta Ads, Google Ads, and SEO
Confident running and optimising paid campaigns
Experience meeting with Meta or Google reps to review and improve accounts
Familiar with landing page design principles that drive conversion
Strong understanding of GA4 to pull event data, track conversion rates, and guide clients through reporting
Experience coordinating Pixel and API tracking with developers and SEO specialists
Strong copywriting skills for social, email, and web
Skilled in Canva with a good eye for design
Confident briefing editors and checking final creative quality
Knowledge of Hootsuite, Meta Ads Manager, and Harvest
Experience writing eCommerce and campaign copy is a plus

Role Details
Full Time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm
Location: 55 Bundall Road, Bundall, Qld, 4217
Salary: $70,000 + superannuation
Team: Work directly with the Founder and 3 remote team members
