Excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance manager to take the helm of an owner managed organisation

The organisation

We are proudly partnering with an owner managed organization who are looking for a competent finance manager to oversee day to day financial management.

The opportunity

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and detailed variance analyses to support decision-making.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries and comprehensive account reconciliations.
• Reconcile GL, balance sheet, and bank statements to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset registers.
• Ensure full compliance with AASB standards and internal financial controls.
• Prepare and lodge statutory returns including BAS, PAYG, and FBT in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Assist with audit processes, liaising with external auditors.

The individual

The ideal applicant for this role will be comfortable liaising with stakeholders, have experience leading a team, and have strong experience across both financial and management accounting.
