Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a 3D Data Capture Technician at Industrial Pixel Visual Effects in Brisbane, and/or Gold Coast, QLD.

As a 3D Data Capture Technician, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to data collection and 3D scanning. This includes working with Photogrammetry, Lidar, Character, and Prop Scanning technologies to capture accurate and high-quality data. You will collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless integration of data into visual effects projects.

Qualifications

Analytical Skills, Computer Literacy, and Communication skills

Data Collection and Typing skills

Knowledge of and/or experience with 3D scanning and data capture technologies

Knowledge of and/or experience with 3D modeling

Knowledge of and/or experience with photography

Knowledge of and/or experience in film production processes and visual effects

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Strong problem-solving skills

Degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., 3D Modeling, 3D Animation, Film School, Visual Effects) is a plus

Must be able to work in Australia

Must have a valid drivers license and passport
