The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, customer-focused CNC Service Technician who’s passionate about machines, solving problems, and making a real impact.

Whether you're an experienced field technician or a CNC machinist ready to step into a service role, we’ll back you with comprehensive training and real career support.

In this role, you’ll:

Perform servicing and maintenance on a wide range of CNC machine tools

Troubleshoot breakdowns and diagnose technical faults

Install and commission new and used CNC machines

Represent our exclusive SMEC brand on-site

Travel throughout Australia and New Zealand

What You’ll Bring

Experience with CNC controls and systems

At least 5 years of CNC machining or service experience

Mechanical and/or electrical problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Computer literacy and confidence with digital tools

A current Australian driver’s license

Full Australian working rights
