About the role

Join our dynamic team at Dental at Forest Hill as a full-time/ part-time Dental Assistant. Situated in the vibrant suburb of Forest Hill, VIC 3131, this position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our patients' dental care. As a Dental Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to our dentists, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical experience for our patients.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the dentist during various dental procedures, including patient preparation, instrument setup, and sterilisation

Maintaining a clean and organised treatment room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available

Providing exceptional patient care by greeting patients, escorting them to the treatment room, and addressing their needs and concerns

Updating and maintaining accurate patient records, including charting and note-taking

Carrying out various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling telephone inquiries

Adhering to strict infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure the wellbeing of our patients and staff

What we're looking for

Completed certificate III or diploma in Dental Assisting or overseas dentist preparing for ADC

Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively in a team

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in maintaining and updating electronic patient records

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and adhering to dental industry standards and regulations
