We are a boutique accounting firm undergoing an exciting phase of growth, with a merger finalising in the next month. With over 20 years of trusted service, the team is expanding. Currently looking for an enthusiastic and capable Administrator/ Bookkeeper to join the team.
About the Role
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working closely with a high-performing practice administrator and supporting a team of accountants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sending out ATO assessments, BAS lodgements, and financial packs
- Preparing and distributing client documents, including tax return packs
- Assisting accountants and providing admin and bookkeeping support to the accounting team
- Drafting emails for ATO and client correspondence
- Supporting billing processes and corporate secretarial tasks
- Helping with client lodgement schedules and coding of returns
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous admin and bookkeeping experience in an accounting or professional services firm is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Experience with MYOB and/or Xero (transitioning to Xero)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
