About Us

Amaze is dedicated to building an autism-inclusive Australia where Autistic people and their families can thrive. For over 50 years, we’ve driven change through support, advocacy, and innovative programs like Autism Connect, Australia’s first national autism helpline.

As we expand under a bold new Strategic Plan, we’re seeking passionate individuals within the Hobart community to help make real, lasting change. Our Autism Connect Team plays a vital role in delivering expert, evidence-based support to Autistic people, their families, and communities across the country.

About the Role

The Autism Connect Coordinator is a new role supporting the ongoing success of Australia’s national autism helpline, Autism Connect. Based in Hobart, this position plays a crucial role in enabling the Autism Connect team to deliver timely, effective, and empathetic support through phone, email, and webchat.

This role also has a broader office coordination focus, supporting the smooth running of the Hobart office and providing general administration across teams. From greeting visitors and handling mail to assisting with queries, managing office supplies, and providing peer support - you’ll be the go-to for all things admin and coordination.

This is a people-focused and highly organised role - perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and being part of a mission-led team.

Contribute to the development of autism-related content and resources

Accurately log service data using Salesforce, PureCloud, and SharePoint

Administration & Office Coordination

Coordinate front-of-house duties, including phone coverage and greeting visitors

Manage general office administration, including mail, stocktake, stationery and cleanliness

Liaise with building management and vendors to ensure smooth office operations

Provide administrative support across the Hobart office, including general program and meeting support and liaising with internal stakeholders on other administrative duties

Monitor shared inboxes and respond or redirect as needed
