As we expand under a bold new Strategic Plan, we’re seeking passionate individuals within the Hobart community to help make real, lasting change. Our Autism Connect Team plays a vital role in delivering expert, evidence-based support to Autistic people, their families, and communities across the country.

About the Role

The Senior Advisor & Facilitator – Autism Connect is a senior member of the Autism Connect service delivery team. Based in Hobart and reporting to a Services Manager or Team Leader, you’ll act as a mentor to other advisors, handle complex queries, and contribute to high-impact projects that shape the quality and reach of our services.

This is a dynamic, people-focused role combining triage, resource development, team support, and training facilitation - perfect for someone looking to deepen their advisor experience in a values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based, respectful information and support to Autistic people and their families via phone, email, and webchat

Lead on-shift triage and technical guidance for other Advisors

Monitor and support call flow and staff availability during shifts

Contribute to team meetings, data reporting, and continuous improvement projects

Oversee resource development and mentor Advisors to ensure quality service delivery

Deliver training to internal teams and external audiences, aligned with Amaze’s strategic priorities

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Is a clear communicator who listens deeply and supports others with empathy and professionalism

Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities with care and structure

Has strong experience in service delivery, social work, education, or a related field

Is committed to the rights of Autistic people and understands the importance of respectful, inclusive communication

Has excellent IT, CRM (e.g. Salesforce), and data tracking/reporting skills

Ideally brings experience facilitating training and/or working in the not-for-profit sector

Has tertiary qualifications in social work, disability, psychology, teaching or similar professions and/or demonstrated equivalent experience. A Working with Children Check and National Police Check will be required if successful through Amaze.

Why Join Amaze?

Be part of a passionate team creating lasting, positive change for Autistic people

Work in a neurodivergent-friendly culture that values kindness, inclusion, and accountability

Enjoy flexible working arrangements and a holistic EAP (including financial, legal, and wellbeing support)

Access salary packaging, gifted leave over Christmas and professional development opportunities
