POSITION:
A prominent company in the marine industry is seeking a skilled Marine Outboard Mechanic to join their team.

BENEFITS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Outboard Engine Installation: Install and integrate outboard engines & associated systems on a range of marine vessels, ensuring proper alignment and secure mounting.
• System Configuration: Set up and configure fuel, electrical, and control systems to ensure peak engine performance and reliability.
• Servicing & Repairs: Carry out scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on outboard motors, including fault finding and replacement of worn or damaged components.
• Customer Interaction: Provide professional & knowledgeable support during service calls, addressing customer concerns & explaining technical issues clearly.
• Performance Testing: Test and calibrate outboard engines after installation or repairs to ensure they meet safety & manufacturer standards.

CANDIDATE:

• Marine mechanical Technology trade - preferred.
• Experience in a dealership - preferred
• Marine Mechanical Experience: Hands-on experience installing, servicing & troubleshooting outboard motors. Preferably in a marine workshop or field setting.
• Technical problem solving skills: Ability to quickly identify faults in outboard systems & implement effective, lasting solutions.
