About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional to take a step into a supportive payroll team on a temp to perm opportunity. Along with assisting the every day payroll processing, this role will be across multiple EBA's/Awards and on both a weekly and monthyl pay-cycle. The office is located in Sydney CBD and you'll have strong working from home flexibility once settled.

The responsibilities

Reporting into the Payroll Manager the main responsibilities include:

• End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce ADP Payforce and UKG.
• Ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements, modern awards, and payroll legislation.
• Managing payroll queries and providing expert guidance to employees and managers.
• Processing terminations, leave calculations, and payroll adjustments.
• Reconciling payroll data and ensuring accurate reporting.
• Collaborating with HR, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Supporting system improvements and process enhancements.

The successful applicant will have:

• At least 5+ years experience in end to end payroll
• Experience using ADP Payforce and UKG (Kronos) an advantage but not a must
• Experience in the retail or hospitality industry is advantageous
• Excellent communications skills
• Be able to work in large, team environments
• Ability to interpret modern awards
