About the role

Picton Brothers' is looking for experienced Carpenters/Builders to join our team in Tamworth, NSW. As a full-time contractor, you will be responsible for constructing patios, glass rooms, decks and other outdoor structures. What you'll be doing

• Interpret drawings to plan and implement construction projects
• Measure, cut, and assemble Aluminium, Steel and other materials to build structures
• Install doors, windows, flooring as needed
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to high quality standards
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction methods and processes

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Carpenter or Builder, preferably in the construction of patios, glass rooms, and decks
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• A current NSW carpenters/ builder's licence
