About the Role:
The Digital Learning Developer is responsible for designing, developing and producing high quality digital learning products to support regulatory officers within the organisation.
This role aims to enhance theoretical knowledge and regulatory practice excellence in line with workplace expectations. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to design and build engaging adult-learner focused digital learning products.
These high-quality learning experiences will contribute to the growth and development of regulatory knowledge, skills and competencies for BPC staff. The role will also foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive excellence within BPC regulatory learning programs.
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a Digital Learning Developer or similar role within a corporate or regulatory compliance environment.
- Instructional design experience design and implement digitally based adult learning.
- Proficiency with software tools, experience with Articulate Rise, Vyond, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to every project.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Education and Training, Human Resources, Organisational Psychology.
About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
