About the Role

As our Senior Chef, you’ll take charge of the kitchen and guide a dedicated team in preparing fresh, high-quality meals that cater to the needs and preferences of our residents. You'll bring creativity, leadership, and a love of good food to everything you do.

What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations in a welcoming aged care environment

Create seasonal menus that are nutritious, delicious, and resident-friendly

Support and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff

Ensure every dish is prepared and presented to a high standard

Manage kitchen budgets and food ordering

Maintain compliance with food safety and aged care standards

Help build a positive, respectful, and supportive team culture

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience as a Senior Chef, Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef

Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery

Great leadership and communication skills

A solid understanding of dietary needs in aged care

A hands-on, team-first approach and passion for great food

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
