We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Coordinator to join our Community Services team and help drive excellence in service delivery, leadership, and client outcomes.

About the Role

As the Operations Coordinator, you will be an experienced health professional with a clinical background and a passion for leading high-performing teams in community aged care delivery. This role collaborates with the Community Manager to ensure effective coordination, support, and leadership of a multidisciplinary team.

You will play a key role in managing daily operations, supporting staff growth, ensuring adherence to aged care quality standards, and providing safe, person-centred care to our valued clients. Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a dedicated community care team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability and continuous improvement

Provide clinical oversight and individualised support, ensuring high standards of safety and service quality

Drive team performance through coaching, mentoring, supervision and performance reviews

Oversee client support planning and ensure services meet individual needs and expectations

Promote and maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements

Facilitate staff recruitment, onboarding, buddy programs, and ongoing professional development

Coordinate and lead quality improvement activities and service innovation

Build collaborative relationships with clients, families, team members and external stakeholders

Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and governance records in line with Capecare policies

What You'll Need to Succeed

AHPRA registration (Enrolled or Registered Nurse – highly desirable)

Relevant qualifications in Community Services or Health

Experience in Community Aged Care

Previous experience in team leadership, operations and people management within the Aged Care/Health Care sector

Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance
