About the role

As an Estimator - Lighting Projects at LED Lighting Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the company's construction projects. Based in Fairfield, VIC, this full-time position involves providing accurate and competitive estimates for a range of lighting projects, from small commercial installations to large-scale industrial developments.

What you'll be doing

Thoroughly review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to develop comprehensive cost estimates

Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

Collaborate with the project management team to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure project profitability

Prepare detailed and well-justified estimates, including breakdowns of all cost components

Continuously monitor and update estimates as project conditions change

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience as an Estimator in the lighting industry

Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks

Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Science preferred
