About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Distribution Design Engineer to support the delivery of overhead, underground, and substation projects across metropolitan and regional Victoria. In this role, you’ll provide design expertise, technical advice, and cost estimates for the development of critical network infrastructure. The position also involves maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engineering design solutions for overhead and underground networks, and substations.

Develop cost and resource estimates for a variety of distribution projects.

Apply Safety in Design principles across all engineering activities.

Contribute to the development of design standards and policies.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation in design processes.

Maintain asset records using AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant systems.

About You

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

NER and/or RPEng registered (or working towards accreditation).

Experience in distribution network design projects.

Strong AutoCAD and GIS skills.

Understanding of electrical networks and construction methodologies.

Knowledge of Safety in Design practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
