The Information Communication and Technology at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

To identify, review and document business processes, functions and client requirements as input to the procurement, development and implementation of information systems in order to ensure the successful delivery of these systems into clinical and business divisions. This position will act as a key intermediary between end-users, project and technical staff to ensure the delivery of valued, integrated and effective business solutions within a large Information and Communication Technology (ICT) environment.

About the Team

The MHHS Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Department plans, builds, supports and maintains Information Technology services to enable Mackay Hospital and Health service to deliver connected care to our patients. Critical to the success of MHHS ICT Department is working closely with all staff across MHHS facilities and services to ensure services remain responsive, relevant and aligned with business priorities.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
