About the Role
As a Medecs First Aid Trainer, you’ll:
Deliver and assess national accredited units:
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
HLTAID009 Provide CPR
Facilitate interactive, practical, and engaging face-to-face training
Guide learners through assessment activities and provide support as needed
Use a full suite of modern First Aid equipment
Maintain accurate assessment records and comply with national standards (support and mentoring provided)
Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and the support team
What You’ll Need
✅ Essential:
TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide CPR
Previous experience as a First Aid Trainer (ideally in a vocational or RTO setting)
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Working with Vulnerable People Check (or willingness to obtain)
🌟 Desirable:
Experience training or working in the disability, aged care, or community services sectors
