The Greenmountain Group of businesses is Australia's largest family-owned and operated vertically integrated beef and veal production and processing operation. Greenmountain specialises in growing and sourcing naturally bred, naturally fed beef and veal to be processed at our modern export food processing establishment at Coominya in the Lockyer Valley of south-east Queensland.

We are currently looking to recruit a proactive and reliable Facilities Officer to support our Maintenance and grounds department in the upkeep of our grounds and external infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is self-starter and enjoys working outdoors.

Role responsibilities

Grounds work (Mowing, snipping, hedging, housekeeping etc)

Handling of onsite dry waste movements (General waste, Cardboard, timber etc)

Pest monitoring processes

Pressure washing of external facilities and infrastructure

Trades assisting as required

Basic handyman activities

Adhering to workplace health and safety requirements at all times

Operation of on-site machinery as licensing permits

Required attributes/skills/qualifications:

Open Drivers license and reliable transport

Forklift License - Beneficial, but not essential

Flexible and able to work overtime as required

Vaccinated against C19

Willing to be vaccinated against Q-Fever

Good communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Physically able to handle lifting objects, climbing ladders, and other manual labour tasks
