Esperance Hope Island is a 5-star waterfront retirement community and is expanding its team!

We’re looking for a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Person who takes genuine pride in their work, enjoys interacting with people, and understands the importance of keeping spaces safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the general presentation, upkeep, and day-to-day maintenance of our grounds and facilities. If you’re someone who’s reliable, friendly, and passionate about keeping things running smoothly and looking their best, we’d love to hear from you.

Daily Tasks

Presentation upkeep of the village

Responding to resident maintenance requests

Preventative maintenance & inspections

Minor repairs to building & equipment

To be successful in this role you will:

Have previous experience as a handy person or general maintenance officer

Be a ‘can do’ person with a positive attitude

Have pride in what you do

Be able to multitask and prioritize effectively

Have a high attention to detail

Have basic computer skills

Have an Open Class C Drivers License

This is a Part Time Role - 2 days per weekday (minimum)
