About the role

Plyco Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Plywood Production & Laminating professional to join our manufacturing team in Fairfield, VIC. This is a full-time position responsible for the production and lamination of high-quality plywood products. As a key member of our Assembly & Process team, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and quality-driven plywood manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate plywood production machinery to manufacture timber panels according to specifications

Perform lamination processes to apply decorative or protective veneer layers to plywood

Inspect products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards

Maintain accurate production records and logs

Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and resolve issues

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a plywood production or laminating role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of plywood production methods, machinery operation and quality control

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment

Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
