The Role

Due to significant growth, MCA Engineering is looking for a Leading Hand Boilermaker with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role to join our Team in Parkes, NSW. This is a fantastic relocation opportunity for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their career—and enjoy a new lifestyle in a regional town with big opportunities.

You'll lead and mentor a team of skilled tradespeople and apprentices in our workshop. You must bring hands-on leadership experience, a focus on safety, and a passion for the trade.

Responsibilities:

Supervising and leading a team of trades and apprentices in a workshop environment

Daily reporting and documentation

Overseeing and reviewing quality of work

WHS - Proven ability to always adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe, work environment

A strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail

A commitment to quality and pride in your work

Excellent communication and leadership skills

About you:

Cert III Trade Fabrication at a minimum

White Card

Forklift licence

Experience as a Supervisor / Leading Hand within a mining company would be viewed favourably

Positive attitude

Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.

Forklift license and confined space ticket – Would be an advantage
