Autesso is seeking a skilled and motivated Franke Machine and Refrigeration Technician to join our growing Melbourne-based national service team. We’re a fast-growing, female-led Australian coffee company delivering premium office coffee experiences, built on technical excellence, world-class Franke machines, and exceptional customer service.

This full-time role involves both field-based and customer-facing work, with a strong emphasis on reliability, autonomy, and service quality. You’ll be working with some of Australia’s most recognised brands - keeping their coffee flowing, with coffee machines expertly maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and recondition Franke coffee machines (A-Line and Mytico)

Install and commission Franke machines and associated refrigeration units

Perform Test and Tag procedures to ensure electrical compliance

Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components

Conduct calibration and performance testing for consistent beverage quality

Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics

Deliver prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous technical support to customers, ensuring high satisfaction and efficient resolution of issues

Perform regular inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment to minimise downtime and ensure optimal operation

Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of maintenance tasks, customer interactions, and incident reports to support transparency and compliance

Support clients and internal staff via phone and in-field

Manage inventory, parts ordering, and stock receipting for Victoria

Deliver clear, professional, and timely customer communication

Collaborate with the wider service team to improve systems, processes, and service delivery

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing Franke coffee machines

Test and Tag licence or equivalent formal capability

Experience with refrigeration systems used in commercial beverage applications

Proven mechanical and basic electrical fault-finding ability

Full Australian driver’s licence

Physically fit (moderate lifting required)

Strong communication and customer service orientation

Basic computer proficiency for record keeping and communication

Australian citizenship or permanent residency
