About the Role
Based in Tatura, this hands-on role takes you across the Goulburn-Murray Water Irrigation District, servicing and maintaining approximately 200 pump stations. You'll be part of our workshop team, responsible for the ongoing reliability and performance of essential water infrastructure keeping pumps, motors, valves, and hydraulic systems in top condition.
Your days will be varied and active, predominantly working in the field to perform first-in maintenance, diagnose faults and carry out routine preventative maintenance on our assets. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and performance standards, your expertise will help support the delivery of water across one of Australia's most important irrigation networks.
What do you need?
Mechanical or engineering trade qualification
Demonstrated experience in maintenance, repair, and fault-finding on pumps and hydraulic systems
Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems related to irrigation and water infrastructure
Ability to operate and maintain diagnostic tools and digital maintenance reporting systems
