The role:

We are looking for a creative but numbers person to join our Men's Buying Team as an Administration Assistant to join our City Beach Men's Buying Team in our Brisbane Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands on within the fashion industry and gain exposure to areas of buying and design. The role is a great entry level opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the fashion industry!

What you’ll be doing:

• Administrative and systems support including generating and compiling reports and information to prepare budgets for analysis.
• Monitor stock recalls and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Assist in forecasting sales on a seasonal basis.
• Communicating relevant data information to Buyers and suppliers.
• Support the Buying Team to plan, develop and deliver in-house and branded product ranges.
• Managing stock flow, product information and data issues to ensure profitability.
• Analyse sales and report back to the Buyer’s on sales, margin and product performance on a weekly basis.
• Tracking, reporting, and analysing data entry in excel.
• Processing purchase orders and other general administrative tasks.
• Liaising with suppliers and other external stakeholders.
  

What we are looking for:

• Fashion retail management experience.
• A background in numbers and data but a keen interest in the fashion industry or an eye for trends.
• Sound computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Previous experience in fashion retail is ideal.
• A keen interest in kickstarting their career in Buying.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Full Time availability from Monday-to-Friday.
