About the role
Playmates Cottage Childcare Centre Inc is a not-for-profit community based early learning Centre catering for up to 51 children each day across three rooms.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality education and care to our families within the service. We are seeking passionate and experienced early childhood educators to join our team.

We have full-time positions available for Qualified ECT, Diploma and Certificate III educators and support our team to further extend their qualifications if desired.

What you'll be doing

Plan and deliver engaging, play-based educational programs for children aged 0-5 years

Embed child safe practices across the service

Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the holistic development of children

Implement the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Collaborate with parents and families to ensure the best outcomes for children

Participate in ongoing professional development to continuously improve your practice

Assist in the daily operations and routines of the childcare centre

What we're looking for

Formal early childhood education qualifications (Early Childhood Teacher, Diploma or Certificate III)

Demonstrated experience working in a childcare or early learning setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the wellbeing of children

Strong organisational and time management skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Confidence in Child protection strategies and Child safe standards

Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificate, current Child Protection Certificate.

Ability to work between the hours of 7am and 6pm

Confidence in programing and planning for children aged from 6 weeks - 5 years
