About the role

Join the passionate team at Stanford Mowers Mount Barker as a Small Engine Mechanic/Technician. In this full-time position based in Mount Barker, SA 5251, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, and trimmers in a variety of industry leading brands such as Stihl, Victa, Masport and so much more.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a variety of small petrol-powered engines and equipment in both 2-stroke and 4-stroke

Diagnose and repair a variety of battery powered handheld equipment

Perform scheduled maintenance services

Test and inspect equipment to identify and resolve any issues

Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers about the status of their equipment

Maintain detailed records of all work performed

What we're looking for

Qualified/experienced small engine mechanic

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A valid driver's license

A valid forklift license (not essential)
