Weekend Hardware Sales - Gepps Cross (Uni Students welcome)

We are seeking additional sales team members with happy approachable personalities and excellent people skills. Due to the diverse nature of Paramount Browns, we are looking for individuals who are driven to increase knowledge and skills across a wide range of hardware products.

We would love to hear from enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated applicants who can flourish in a fast-paced physically demanding role with unexpected challenges.

Flexible weekend positions are available on a fixed and rotating roster. Extra shifts are also available on weekdays and during university breaks.

Requirements:

Passion for customer service

Neat & presentable appearance

High level of computer literacy

Physically fit

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Driven to develop new skills

Heavy lifting ability

Must be able to pass full medical assessment plus D&A test

Your main duties will include:

Point of sale till operations

Greeting Customers

Arranging Customer orders / quotes in person and over the phone

Stock replenishment

Loading customers vehicles

Small Engine Mechanic

Looking for Part-time, Casual or Full-time work and have mechanical experience with Petrol or Diesel Engines?

Paramount Browns at Gepps Cross are also looking for a Small Stationary Engine Mechanic to enhance our team with flexible hours from 15 to 38 hours per week. However, hours and generous salary are negotiable for the right candidate. Sales experience is also highly valued.

Paramount Browns (Retail Division) is a locally owned and operated retail business specialising in Hardware and Machinery products with outlets in Gepps Cross and Mt Barker.

Role Requirements and Responsibilities:

Diagnose faults and repair various engines, pumps and machinery

Work Hours, Location & Benefits

20 - 38 Hours per week (Flexible & Negotiable)

3 - 5 Day work week (Flexible & Negotiable)

The position is based at Gepps Cross

Ongoing training and development

Qualifications/Skills:

Mechanical aptitude

Physically fit to conduct duties

Experience with electrical motors and batteries would be an advantage

Be analytical and have a resourceful approach to work

Forklift licence would be preferred

Drivers licence essential
