We are seeking a full time, detail-oriented and organised Administration Employee to support the daily operations of our cake store located in Castle Hill. This position plays a key role in maintaining administrative efficiency, handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and assisting with inventory and scheduling. The ideal candidate is friendly, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Full time hours with some flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-store customer inquiries
Take and confirm cake orders, including custom requests
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment
Administrative Duties:
Manage and update customer databases and order records
Prepare invoices and receipts
Maintain filing systems for financial and customer documentation
Inventory and Supply Management:
Track inventory levels of packaging, and supplies
Assist in placing and receiving orders from suppliers
Reconcile delivery receipts with inventory record
About You
Prior experience in administrative, retail, or food service roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proficiency with technology, including emailing, google drive suite and POS Systems
Familiarity with basic accounting or bookkeeping is preferred
Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
Ready to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Occasional weekend and holiday shifts may be required
Standing, walking, and light lifting may be part of the role
