Are you a HV Commissioning Engineer with experience in protection relays and PLCs? This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on critical infrastructure projects in Melbourne, where you'll be trusted to own commissioning from start to finish.

This company is a specialist in electrical infrastructure delivery across high-demand environments such as data centres, industrial facilities, and complex commercial builds. With a strong pipeline of work, they're now seeking a hands-on engineer to lead HV testing, protection setup, and site programming.

This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, precision, and problem-solving in complex environments. Ideally this candidate will have experience in both primary and secondary system testing.

The Role:

• Lead HV commissioning activities across a range of infrastructure projects
• Carry out protection relay testing and configuration (including Siemens and Schneider FM6)
• Perform a full suite of HV testing including function tests, load tests, loop checks, and relay injection
• Program and configure SCADA systems for live operation
• Set up and test HMI interfaces on-site
• Liaise with project teams, report progress, and support energisation and handover
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and testing protocols

Requirements:

• Demonstrated HV commissioning experience in live environments
• Strong protection relay knowledge - Siemens, Schneider FM6, and PM meters
• SCADA configuration or programming experience
• PLC programming skills or solid understanding
• Data centre experience highly regarded (not essential)
