Qualifications & experience

Holds a Bachelor of Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree or similar qualification recognized by Institute of Engineer's Australia.

Valid Australian/overseas Driver's License.

Valid work & residency visa for Australia.

5-8 years experience in the High Voltage Power Industry specifically in testing & commissioning environment.

Possession of effective communication skills enhanced with quality leadership skills to further develop customer/client relationship.

Ability to use project management tools to enhance commissioning management activities.

Tasks & responsibilities

Ability to lead a Test Team on medium to highly complex projects (Zone & Terminal Stations) ranging from 66kV to 500kV.

Ability to test and commission very complex protection, control and metering schemes

Ability to competently use most Primary & Secondary test equipment, develop & implement test plans.

Ability to test and commission IEC 61850 based protection, control & GOOSE based communication schemes.
