The Role
You will lead a 'hub' of multidisciplinary experts that enhance how we manage the full asset lifecycle, from strategy to operations. This role drives the uplift of future-fit, adaptive, and human-centred practices that enable smarter, more sustainable, and customer-focused decision making. As a systems thinker and connector, you'll play a key role in transforming how we work across functions to improve the long-term value and performance of our assets.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead the transformation to introduce then embed adaptive, systems-based and human-centred practices into asset lifecycle thinking and decision making
- Build new capability and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team across asset framework governance, product quality, data science and modelling.
- Influence senior leaders to uplift capability, challenge legacy approaches and drive performance and cultural change
- Ensure expert advice from the hub informs investment, maintenance, renewal, and customer strategies
- Act as a connector between planning, delivery, operations, strategy, and technology to enable cross-functional innovation and cut through.
- Champion agile, adaptive and collaborative ways of working across lifecycle processes
- Align lifecycle expertise with organisational strategy, balancing risk, cost, performance and sustainability
- Drive systems thinking, foresight and innovation to help solve complex, system-wide asset challenges
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualifications in business, strategy, innovation, change or a technical field (but with demonstrated experience in leading transformation or change)
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex, asset-heavy or regulated environments
- Experience bringing human-centred, agile or adaptive practices into organisational ways of working
- Strong systems thinking mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive change, uplift capability and foster innovation
- Confident influencing senior leaders and building alignment across planning, delivery and operations
- A commitment to performance, collaboration and sustainable, customer-focused outcomes
