About the role

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Barbers on Collins' in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of our busy barbershop.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner

Serving complimentary drinks to clients

Answering and managing incoming phone calls

Booking and scheduling appointments for clients

Processing payments and handling cash and card transactions

Restocking and maintaining the reception area and supplies

Providing general administrative support as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, ideally in a salon or similar environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for customers

Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle a busy schedule

Proficiency in using computer systems and booking software

A positive, friendly and professional attitude
