Rowell Logistics is an interstate transport company that has been operating for the past 30 years. We are a family business that pride ourselves on our small tight knit team and culture. We are looking to expand our office with an experienced candidate.
Full time position, flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Collate POD’s and undertake monthly invoicing and reporting functions
Work with management to maintain compliance with NHVR & Main Roads requirements; Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue Accreditation ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Arrange and coordinate NHVR, Main Roads and customer audits, when required
Manage logchecker and work diary records, generate non-conformance reports and follow up with corrective actions for drivers.
Maintain customer portals with accurate company, driver, insurance and policy data, as required
Assist management in developing, updating and executing company policies and procedures.
Accurately investigate and report incidents, supporting behaviours that always provide a safe working environment.
Provide training assistance and guidance to employees, drivers and on compliance related matters as well safety inductions, if required.
Coordinating equipment service schedules and repairs with workshop and operational staff
WHS system maintenance.
Troubleshooting software issues
The right candidate should have:
Knowledge of transport regulations, fatigue management, and CoR requirements, with 2+ years of experience in the transport compliance industry working in a similar role, preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong computer skills working in web-based programs, MS office products and online portals
Excellent organisational as well as multitasking skills
The ability to work independently
Strong customer focus
WHS system knowledge/experience advantageous

*RL endeavors to ensure loads are delivered on-time and to the correct destination. We understand that communication with suppliers is a crucial component of a successful business relationship. Therefore, all RL vehicles have fixed and mobile telephones enabling two forms of contact with the driver at all times. We maintain regular contact with our valued customers ensuring they are fully informed at all times. We are fastidious at ensuring all CODs and relevant paperwork (PODs / pallets) are complete and returned to our suppliers within the required timeframe.
