About the Role
VFJ is expanding into Sydney and we’re on the hunt for a reliable, self-sufficient Field Service Technician to join our service team. You'll be servicing a range of cash handling equipment, including note counters, dispensing safes, ATMs, coin handling machines, and more.

This hybrid role offers a balance of workshop-based prep and diagnostics, along with on-site support at client locations across Sydney/NSW.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cash handling machines

Working directly with clients to deliver high-quality, efficient service

Performing preventative maintenance and quality assurance checks

Managing your service van inventory and reporting via laptop

Occasionally working outside standard hours to support 20/7 client operations

🕒 Standard hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
📆 Some weekend/after-hours work may be required (as needed)

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Experience with mechanical/electrical servicing or a trade background

Solid communication skills and the ability to work independently

Strong organisation and time management

Professional presentation and customer-first attitude

Physically capable of lifting equipment (15kg+)

A valid Australian Driver’s License
