A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a Head of Property Management to join this well known, highly successful name in Melbourne's Inner CBD (South Yarra Area).

This role will be responsible for leading and developing the property management department of this high end real estate company. The position is three fold - overseeing growth from a strategic perspective for the Department, ensuring the Department meets all compliance standards and finally managing this long term team.

What you'll be doing

Oversee all aspects of the property management function, including tenant management, maintenance, financial reporting and compliance

Develop and implement strategies to grow the property management portfolio and enhance service delivery

Provide expert advice and guidance to landlords and tenants on all property-related matters

Manage and mentor a team of property managers, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Ensure the property management division operates efficiently and profitably within the company's overall business strategy

Collaborate with the sales and leasing teams to provide a seamless client experience

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislation and best practices in property management

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior property management role, preferably in the residential leasing and property management sector

Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a property management division

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and internal stakeholders

Thorough understanding of relevant real estate legislation, regulations and industry best practices

Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret and report on financial data

Exceptional communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team
