About the role

This is an "On the Road" Field Based full-time role located in Malaga, WA 6090, working for OzShut Roller Shutters, a leading manufacturer and installer of roller shutters. As a Check Measurer / Estimator, you will be responsible for visiting residential & commercial sites, conducting the final measure up and providing accurate estimates to the Production Team for the installation of roller shutter products. The Sales Order has already been lodged by the client so there is no selling involved in this role.

What you'll be doing:

Visiting customer locations to accurately measure up for roller shutter installations once sale order has been lodged;

Providing detailed, accurate measurements for the supply and installation of roller shutters via a simple report form;

Communicating effectively with customers to schedule their final measurement time and creating a daily route run. You will have access to a company vehicle to use during the working day;

Liaising with Production Managers to ensure all orders are correctly measured within error tolerance guidelines;

Using laser measuring tools, tape measures, aperture measuring sticks to obtain correct measurements;

Providing exceptional customer service throughout the production process;

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar check measure or estimating role, ideally within the roller shutter, outdoor / indoor blind, security screen industry;

Strong attention to detail and the ability to take accurate measurements;

Excellent customer service, writing & communication skills;

Proficient in the use of basic measuring equipment and tools;

Strong organizational and time management skills;

A flexible and adaptable approach to work;

Must have Current Drivers License, Police Clearance and 2 Work References;

Pre-Employment Medical Check will be required to be completed by successful applicant;

Ability to work at heights (not more than 4m), correct use of ladders is a requirement;
