Marshfield Consulting Services (Marshfield) is a growing civil construction project management consultancy, seeking suitably qualified and motivated Project Engineers to join the team in Adelaide. More senior candidates are welcome to apply.

Marshfield’s multifaceted offering provides project management, commercial management, procurement and other project delivery services to Clients and Contractors of all sizes and types of infrastructure projects throughout South Australia. This role will suit any experienced Site Engineer looking to take the next step in their career or an experienced Project Engineer wanting to broaden their experience, or to get the desired work life balance. We have multiple roles available for people with experience in civil infrastructure projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this position you will provide services to Clients and/or Contractors on a diverse range of infrastructure projects within South Australia including:

Ensuring safe systems of work are implemented in all aspects of your responsibilities.

Provide engineering services including design, contract, construction and procurement management functions within your expanding skillset.

Manage contractors/subcontractors or direct labour to meet safety, quality, program and cost targets.

Manage budgets, compile programs and track the progress of works.

Work collaboratively with Marshfield management.

The projects may involve the construction of roads, bridges, marine and other structures, utilities installation and other civil construction works. We offer roles with Contractors and Clients and have positions in Adelaide or working away from home on a roster (where transport, meals, accommodation and site uplifts are paid separately), but the need to work away is not essential.

ABOUT YOU

Be motivated, passionate, innovative and energetic.

Hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or similar.

2-3 years or more experience in the civil construction industry, either in construction, with clients, or in engineering firms .

Be an accomplished communicator who is confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to achieve client objectives.

Be willing to learn new processes and skills.
