About us: Sunshine Coast iT is an established local business providing onsite computer services to both residential and business clients within the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland Region. We deliver a number of IT related services including: computer hardware and software upgrades, Internet security, data backup and recovery, wired and wireless networking, cloud infrastructure and business email solutions.

Our ideal candidate:

- An IT professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience using a variety of solutions (e.g. Windows/Mac/ iOS, Microsoft 365, Google Apps for Business, NAS).

- Knowledge of Networks, Cloud Hosting, Microsoft 365 email and user account administration with skills in removing malware, monitoring back ups and performing hardware/software maintenance and repairs.

- Excellent troubleshooting ability to effectively diagnose hardware faults and recommend solutions to meet client satisfaction.

- High levels of organisation and effective time management skills whilst working independently with minimal advice and direction.

- Excellent people and communication skills including the ability translate technical terminology and summarise problem resolution while building rapport with the client.

- Applications are welcomed from recent IT Graduates who demonstrate strong foundational knowledge, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering excellent technical support.

What we expect of you: Provide onsite and remote support for clients running Microsoft networks. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues applying logic and analysis while educating and building rapport with clients. Remote monitoring and management of networks/workstations and managing client email and phone enquiries. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high pressure environment. Set expectations with the clients in regards to problem rectification, timeframes and billing. A strong interest in IT, a pro-active, can-do mindset and continuous desire for learning new technologies. Willingness to travel statewide, as onsite project work may be required for clients in rural and regional Queensland. A current drivers license.
