About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Structural Engineer to take the reins and drive the growth of a new structural division within a well-established consultancy. This role is ideal for a highly experienced and motivated engineer ready to step into a leadership position with full ownership of projects, people, and process.

You’ll work closely with directors to build and lead a structural team focused on delivering high-quality designs across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the establishment and operation of a new structural engineering division.

Manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers.

Provide detailed structural design and analysis of steel, concrete, timber, and precast elements.

Develop and manage project delivery strategies from concept to completion.

Prepare and review structural documentation, sketches, and calculations.

Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and other consultants to achieve design and project objectives.

Ensure all designs comply with Australian Standards and relevant building codes.

About You:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an Australian university (required).

8+ years of structural design and project management experience.

Experience in high-rise or large-scale developments is highly desirable.

Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit Structure, Tekla, and Bluebeam.

Registered or eligible as a Design Practitioner – Structural (NSW).

Proven leadership, time management, and communication skills.
