About the Role

Due to a projected increase in build volumes, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Production Draftsperson to join our team, based in our Melbourne Head Office. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast-paced drafting team working across a variety of residential housing projects.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

· Produce accurate, build-ready documentation using ArchiCAD

· Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory standards, including NCC, the Building Code of Australia, and developer or council guidelines

· Interpret and apply structural engineering and energy reports to working drawings

· Conduct internal plan reviews, perform quality checks, and apply mark-ups from stakeholders

· Coordinate with construction, estimating, sales, and consultants to resolve queries and ensure drawing consistency

· Review and provide feedback on drafting completed by both internal and outsourced team members

· Support handover stages with timely and accurate drawing deliverables and amendments

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

· A minimum of 5 years' experience in production drafting within the residential volume building industry

· Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD (mandatory), with experience producing full working drawing documentation

· Solid understanding of the NCC, Building Regulations, Small Lot Housing Code, and other compliance requirements

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure

· High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of documentation

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across teams and with external consultants

· A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a strong sense of accountability

· Team-oriented approach and a willingness to collaborate

· Flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs and priorities
