Architectural Draftsperson
Full-Time | Boutique Studio | Melbourne CBD

We are a boutique architectural practice based in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, seeking an experienced and proactive Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable and motivated individual to work across a range of residential and mixed-use projects (Class 1 & 2 buildings). You will be involved in all phases of project delivery—from concept through to completion—while contributing to the continual improvement of our studio standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Independently prepare documentation for Class 1 & 2 buildings

Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities

Manage and run projects with minimal supervision

Participate in client meetings and project coordination

Contribute to improving internal processes and documentation standards

Bring forward innovative ideas and initiatives that uphold and enhance the quality of our work

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of industry experience

Strong knowledge of basic construction, NCC, and Australian Standards

High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Suite

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to self-manage, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment

Competitive salary of $75,000 – $90,000, remuneration based on experience and skills
