About the Role

As Operations Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end production and supply chain operations at a key manufacturing site, reporting directly to the GM of Operations & Supply Chain. This role will see you play a central part in driving performance, product quality, and operational excellence across a diverse and passionate team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading daily operations across manufacturing, planning, warehousing, and supply chain.
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality, small-batch premium products on time and to specification.
• Driving a strong safety, quality, and compliance culture across site operations.
• Building capability within the team through leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement.
• Working cross-functionally with Quality, NPD, Retail, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and agility in meeting business goals.
• Identifying and implementing initiatives to optimise performance, reduce waste, and elevate customer experience.

About You

You’re a hands-on operations leader with a background in food or FMCG manufacturing — and a genuine passion for quality, people, and premium product. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy being close to the product and the process. You bring:

• 5+ years’ leadership experience in food, beverage, or premium consumer goods manufacturing.
• A values-led leadership style that engages, motivates, and develops teams.
• Experience working in a high-quality, small-batch or artisan manufacturing environment (desirable).
• Strong understanding of food safety, QA, and compliance standards.
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to balance structure and flexibility.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach across teams.
