As such, we are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a devoted and dependable Centre Manager to join our state of the art Early Childhood Education and Care Centre located in Mt Tarcoola/Geraldton.

Our Centre has been designed based on best practice educational principles, is highly resourced and provides a second-to-none environment for both children and educators. Our Educators are involved in planning and supporting the educational program, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, current approaches, theories and research in early childhood education. Position Overview:

The Centre Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and building strong connections with children, families, and staff. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, emotionally intelligent, and committed to excellence in early childhood education

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.

Ensure the centre meets all legislative and regulatory requirements including ACECQA and NQS standards.

Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation in teaching practices, program delivery, and operational processes.

Oversee enrolment, occupancy, budgeting, staffing, and daily operations.

Develop and implement centre policies, procedures, and curriculum frameworks in line with EYLF and centre philosophy.

Foster a warm, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.

Support professional development and wellbeing of educators

About You

Genuine warmth, care and passion for children

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Ability to build respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and families

Supportive team member that works to high standards and takes initiative

An ACECQA approved Diploma in Children's Services

a minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role within the Early Childhood sector

A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, including government regulations, the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Experience in developing and implementing programmes that are interest-based, reflective of diversity and contribute to positive behaviour management and guidance techniques and strategies for children

Ongoing desire for development and growth. Driving continuous improvement of the Centre.

A professional and ethical approach to all aspects of work
