About this role:
In this role at Pop., you will commence on a Professional Learning Pathway whilst simultaneously seeing a caseload tailored 60% to your Clinical passion area of social communication and Neurodiversity-affirming practice.
Supported by and working closely with our Clinical Lead in Neurodiversity, you will elevate your skills and work through the Professional Learning Pathway, passing through the ‘competent’, ‘intermediate’ and ‘advanced’ stages of the clinical program.
On completion of this internal training, you will have the opportunity of being fast tracked into one of our clinical leadership roles.

These roles include;
Supervisor; A Pop Supervisor has reached competence in a particular clinical area and will be signed off to perform 1:1 clinical supervision.
Formal Clinical Supervisor: A Formal Clinical Supervisor at Pop. has reached intermediate to advanced skills within a clinical area. They will have a clinical reduction & specific KPI’s based on supervising Pop clinicians, and will include; 1:1 and written (report writing) supervision, quality assurance and quality improvement activities. As of 2025, Pop has 5 Formal Clinical Supervisors who have a total of 15 hours of clinical variation in order to fulfil their roles.
Clinical Lead: Clinical Leads demonstrate clinical excellence in multiple clinical areas and have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to; 1:1 clinical supervision, service development, clinical case management, bespoke models of care (assessment & screening clinics), attending complex MDT & meetings with external stakeholders, quality improvement & quality assurance. Pop currently has 3 Clinical Leads across the Adults, Neurodiversity and School Aged Language + Literacy pathways with a total of 22 hours of clinical variation in order to fulfil their roles.

You have proven experience utilising the current evidence base in Neurodiversity Affirming Social Communication therapy strategies?
You have a minimum of 3 years experience as a speech pathologist

You have a desire to learn and have demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning
You have formal qualifications in Speech Pathology
You have a current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
You are able to obtain a Medicare provider number
