About the opportunity:

We are looking to provide an amazing growth opportunity to an energetic and enthusiastic experienced bookkeeper with flair who can effectively manage a team and is looking to work full time on a diverse range of clients! You will need to demonstrate your skills and technical ability via an online assessment.

We are a progressive bookkeeping firm that specialises in online bookkeeping systems and are looking an experienced ‘Xero champion’ with a great attention to detail who will work full time (a blend of remote and in office 2 days per month) for an immediate start. Our clients appreciate that our systemised bookkeeping systems can be effectively delivered and managed online.

About you:

You are someone who loves to learn and are excited about developing your skills in a range of areas.

You can proficiently process and complete Xero accounts, reconciliations, payroll, and BAS.

You love new tech and get as excited as we do about using various Microsoft applications.

You thrive on working in a systemised workplace.

You have permanent residency.

Your payroll experience includes applying EBA's, timesheets, pay run processing and super across a number of industries.

You love getting things right, being accurate and detail is your middle name!

You can speak, write and read English fluently and communicate with others with ease.

You enjoy variety and can manage your time effectively.

You enjoy supporting and nurturing a team to grow, working with them daily.

Individually proactive.

You are currently a bookkeeper and posses a Cert IV in bookkeeping or above, and willing to apply for a police check. You have the ability to resource your own work from home space, including computer, printer, speedy internet connection and excellent mobile coverage and reception.

Ideal candidate skills/ qualifications

You consider yourself a ‘bookkeeping’ Champion 5 years+ current working bookkeeping experience.

Team management experience is a pre requisite for consideration of your application.

Certified Xero Advisor & Payroll Advisor is a must

Intermediate level in Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office Payroll skills including set up, processing, reconciliations & troubleshooting

Have great attention to detail on all transactions/financial data

Able to work independently and capable of problem solving

Can speak, write and read English fluently

Able to prioritise work and complete on time, develop & implement solutions and systems that successfully manage complex accounts.
